Critical Incident Response for Workplaces & Organizations

When the unexpected happens, you don’t navigate it alone.

Trauma-informed crisis response and prevention training for businesses, churches, schools, and groups of every size. Pricing scaled to your team and location.

For Businesses, Churches, Schools & Groups

Support after the unexpected.

When a workplace loses a colleague, a faith community witnesses violence, a school faces an unthinkable day, or a team simply needs language to process what they’ve witnessed — Collaborative Minds offers trauma-informed crisis response and prevention training built for organizations of every kind.

This work is separate from my department contracts and from my individual therapy practice. It’s built specifically for one-off, scaled engagements — you call when you need it, we scope to fit, and we’re done.

When to Call Us

The moments this service was built for.

After a workplace death or suicide

Losing a colleague creates shock, grief, and confusion. CISD helps teams process the loss together and begin the work of moving forward.

After violence or a serious threat

Incidents involving violence, robbery, threats, or assault leave employees feeling unsafe and emotionally overwhelmed. Structured intervention restores stability.

After disturbing or traumatic exposure

When a team witnesses something they shouldn’t have to carry alone — an accident, a medical event, a disaster — processing matters.

Incidents involving children or multiple victims

Events that impact vulnerable populations or involve multiple casualties tend to have deeper, longer-lasting emotional effects.

Before a crisis — preventative training

Stress response, trauma-informed leadership, recognizing burnout, suicide awareness. Training that prepares your team before the next hard day arrives.

When you’re not sure if it qualifies

If something happened and your team isn’t the same — call. A discovery call is free, and I’ll help you think it through honestly.

What We Offer

Two services, scaled to your needs.

01 / Critical Response

Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD)

A structured, evidence-informed intervention used to support teams after high-impact incidents. CISD is not therapy — it’s a preventative and supportive intervention designed to reduce acute stress reactions and support emotional recovery.

How it works:

  • Activation within 24–72 hours of a qualifying incident
  • Conducted on-site at your location, or virtually when needed
  • ICISF-certified facilitation, following the 7-phase model
  • Co-facilitated with peer support where appropriate
  • Referrals provided for anyone needing ongoing care
02 / Prevention

Psychoeducation & Training

Tailored workshops that give your team the language and tools to recognize stress, support each other, and seek help before crisis. Built around your industry, your team, and your specific concerns.

Common topics:

  • Stress response & the nervous system in the workplace
  • Recognizing burnout and compassion fatigue
  • Trauma-informed leadership for managers
  • Suicide awareness and intervention basics
  • Coping strategies that hold up under pressure
  • Work-life balance and recovery practices

What we are not

CISD is not emergency response and not a substitute for ongoing clinical care. In a true emergency, call or text 988 or call 911. Where ongoing therapy is needed, we’ll connect your team to appropriate providers.

Pricing & Scoping

Custom-scoped, transparently priced.

Pricing for workplace services is determined by scale and location. A 30-person team in Hyannis is a different engagement than a 300-person team that needs a multi-shift response, and the proposal reflects that.

Every engagement starts with a free discovery call where we discuss what happened (or what you’re preparing for), how many people are involved, where you’re located, and how quickly you need a response. From there, you receive a written proposal with a clear scope and price — no hidden fees, no obligation to book.

After-hours and travel

Critical incidents don’t happen on a schedule. Evening, weekend, and travel availability is negotiable — reach out and we’ll work it out.

Need help now?

If your team has just lived through something hard, the fastest path is a phone call. Otherwise, send a message and I’ll respond within one business day — sooner if your situation is time-sensitive.
